What should I expect to happen once I place my order on-line?

When your order is received, it will be processed within 1 business day. Shipping time will depend on your shipping choice and geographic location. See "shipping and handling". We send email notification with a confirmation of your order.
 
Is it safe to use my credit card?

YES - it is safe! Orders placed on our site are encrypted using SSL (Secure Socket Layer) technology. When you are viewing a secure web page, your browser will indicate this by displaying an icon (either an unbroken key (Netscape) or closed lock (Internet Explorer)) in the lower left corner of your browser's window. Lynn's Collectibles does not rent or sell information we receive from customers to ANY third parties (other than for purposes of your Lynn's Club magazine subscription). Why isn't my browser working with your site?

When we designed our On-line Catalogue, we made use of some of the newer Internet technologies. Unfortunately, not all browsers are created equal, and what's more, not everyone views the Internet at the same resolution. For this reason, we have come up with some minimum requirements that will ensure your enjoyment of the Lynn's Collectibles On-line shopping experience.

About Your Browser

The browsers that we have tested successfully include Internet Explorer 3.02 and above and Netscape 3.0 and higher. If you would like to download the latest version of either of these browser, you can click on one of the links below.

     

Your Browser Settings

All you need to worry about here, is that your browser will accept cookies (yum!). Cookies are simply a mechanism for storing and retrieving information about the web client (your browser). Your Monitor Resolution

Although the site can be viewed in just about any resolution, we recommend 800x600. You can change your display settings in Windows 95, by following the "Start" button to the "Settings" menu, clicking on "Control Panel", then clicking on the "Display" icon. Select the "Settings" tab from the "Display" window and then slide the "Desktop Area" slider until the resolution show 800x600 or greater.

AOL Users

For AOL users: You may notice that some images appear blotchy, grainy, or blurry. This is becuase of AOL's setting which allows you to set the quality of incoming images. By default this setting is defined as low quality.

In order to change this setting, and therefore improve your web site viewing experience, ensure that you are running one of the latest versions of AOL (Versions 4.0 or 5.0).

To find out which version you're running:
  • Start AOL.
  • Go to the "Help" menu.
  • Choose the "About America Online" option.
If you are running AOL 4.0:
  • Start AOL.
  • Go to "My AOL".
  • Choose "Preferences" option.
  • Click "WWW" button which brings up "AOL Internet Properties".
  • Choose "Web Graphics" tab.
  • Make sure the checkbox for "Use compressed graphics" is NOT checked.
  • Go to the "Advanced" tab.
  • Click the button "Settings" in the "Temporary Internet Files"
  • Click the button labeled "Empty Folder" that is brought up.
  • Choose "Yes" to the next question which will empty the cache.
  • Click OK to return to "AOL Internet Properties" and OK again to return to the "Preferences" box.
If you are running AOL 5.0:
To change the setting:
  • Start AOL.
  • Go to "My AOL".
  • Select Preferences.
  • Click "WWW" button.
  • Choose "Web Graphics" tab.
  • UNCHECK the Use Compressed Graphics option.
To refresh the browser:
  • Start AOL.
  • Got to "My AOL".
  • Select "Preferences".
  • Click "WWW".
  • Choose the "General" tab.
  • In the "Temporary Internet Files" section click the "Delete Files..." button
You are now ready to run AOL with your new settings.
 
How much is shipping and handling?

There are a few delivery options available from which to choose. See the tables below for delivery options and costs.

Canadians, using Canada.com Mastercard for their purchases receive a shipping bonus. The Canada.com Mastercard shipping bonus is free shipping on all orders and for orders over $90 CDN your receive free super fast shipping (Xpresspost), anywhere in Canada.

To determine when you will receive an In-stock item, add 1 Business day to the shipping time.. For example, if an item on our site states, IN STOCK, and you choose Xpresspost delivery within Canada your total delivery time is:

1 day + 2 days (Shipping time) = 3 days

For special orders, we will advise you via email on estimated delivery time.

All orders shipped can only be left in a secure location as deemed by Canada Post. If no one is available to accept the package or if a secure drop-off location is not available, than a Delivery Notice Card will we left informing you that the package is waiting to be picked up at the nearest Canada Post office.

How do I return something?

We will exchange or refund any unused returned or defective item within 30 days of original purchase date with a copy of your original receipt. For exchange or refund, package & ship item and original receipt, via standard "post office" mail. When Lynn's receives the item we will issue a full refund less shipping charges or provide an exchange that you have requested.

Payment can be made over the secure server on the Internet by Visa or MasterCard. Do not send your credit card number via email.
 
Does Lynn's Collectibles accept international orders?

Sorry, we only accept orders from Canada and the United States of America.
 
How does a gift certificate work for on-line shopping?

You can purchase a points gift certificate (See "How do I place an order?") for any Lynn's Club member. The points are added immediately at time of purchase and you can print a gift certificate for the Club Member. All you need is the member's Lynn's Club Number.

How do you order Collector Club Member Only Figures?

As a Collector Club Member (Seraphim Classics Club and Tuskers) you have received (or soon will) a redemption form in the mail for special collectors club sculpture(s). Lynn's Club provides an on-line redemption from for your convenience, however, you will need information (unique to your membership) to complete the on-line form. Please have your hard copy redemption form information handy to complete the on-line form. YOU CAN ONLY USE YOUR REDEMPTION ENTITLEMENT(S) ONCE PER MEMBERSHIP.
